Dear Wilson,
In reply to your letter of the 21st
February, we do not appear to have had any papers
about the storage of oil fuel at Hong Kong and
consequently are not in a position to say definitely
that there would be no objection to the site on the
part of the Colonial Government. As however the
Admiralty only ask for an expression of opinion from a
defence point of view, we can quite safely say that we
have no observations on this aspect of the case.
I return the chart which you enclosed.
